Cowboy Poetry

A great western tradition - reminisce for three days - jam packed with poems, songs, stories and tales past and present of the real cowboy life. Come and meet the poets, musicians and artisans at the Horseshoe Pavilion. Sit a spell in the grandstand while the experts train a green horse and entertain you, or catch a ride on the horse-drawn wagons for a tour around the grounds. The aroma of Alberta beef, the "best in the west" will fill the air on Friday and Saturday at the BBQ.

The following is our schedule of events for the 2008 Cowboy Poetry Gathering. Next year's order of events will be similar, check back as updates will be made as information becomes available.
